If you haven't heard about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico then you must be living in a very isolated area, because you would be the only one. This is a huge catastrophe right now, and we don't know how long its gonna take to solve and fix the problem. But the question we're all asking each other is: just how big of an issue this is?
This could affect a lot of peoples lives, but most likely an animal. The wild life in the Gulf are gonna be covered in oil and that could possibly take their lives. Not many of us really care about what happens to the animals, just to the people or their homes. I guess that is understandable in a way. But something this big maybe we should focus in on the other things and not just ourselves.
So the question i wanna ask and i wanna know is, how are we gonna stop this? Save the animals? Whose gonna help, how are we gonna get the money to do it, do we even have an effective approach to even try and begin to stop it? I know we've tried a couple of things but those have been failures. We as readers would like to know.
How horrible is this ?
Maybe this will open your eyes a little bit.
